Meeting Notes
Next meeting: September 16, 2026 at the Denny's restaurant on 19 St NE, north of 16 Avenue. The room is booked starting at 5:30 PM for those who want to come early for supper, with the meeting to follow at 7:00 PM. Program TBA.
Special Events:
Our Summer Gathering at Peter's Drive In on August 23 was a success. Even the weather cooperated.
The show and tell event for Go boxes, Sota equipment, POTA equipment, and equipment for other portable activies on the September long weekend was a success, even with the rain!
The Fallentimber Meadery near Water Valley proved to be a great site (low noise floor on HF). The inventiviness of hams was on full display.
Club Objectives
- To promote amateur radio.
- To afford opportunity for friendly and social activities.
- To provide a meeting place for the consideration and discussion of questions affecting the interests of the Club.
- To encourage and foster among its members a recognition of the importance of communications in times of emergency or community need.
- To sell, manage, lease, mortgage, dispose of, or otherwise deal with the property of the Club.
- To always remember that this is only a hobby and not to take ourselves too seriously.
