Handsfree Operating
Handsfree operating, especially when mobile, can be helpfull. Bluetooth is one option but it can be expensive. There are wired options that can be much cheaper. Here is some information on some of the options that are available:

- EMDRC Hands Free Mobile Kit Eastern and Mountain District Radio Club of Australia has a kit that will work with just about any radio. It uses a momentary switch to turn the PTT on and off (push to Tx and push again to Rx) with a user settable timeout of 30 seconds to 10 minutes.
